About Nina
I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and I am licensed to practice in the state of California as a Marriage and Family Therapist (License # 47465).
In my practice, I believe that the process of change requires an approach that is tailored to each individual’s unique style and needs. I strive to create a collaborative, caring, and supportive atmosphere that will assist you in identifying and changing the thoughts, the behaviors, and the interpersonal styles that are no longer effective for you.
My approach integrates scientifically validated cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and family systems theories and considers both biological and psychological factors contributing to your experience.
I had success in assisting clients who were able to successfully manage or eliminate depression, fears and anxieties, trauma and posttraumatic stress disorder, and parenting defiant child or adolescent behaviors.
